I built my first agency sitting in a gym office during COVID. At the time I owned three gyms, worked a full-time job, my wife was pregnant, and I had zero prior experience in digital marketing. By October 2020, I was at $4,000 a month in MRR.

Three years and two months later, in December 2023, I had a team of 50, over 700 clients, had taken $8 million in profit out of the business, and sold for multi-seven figures. Private equity was at the table. Individual buyers were at the table. I went through seven rounds of due diligence before I was truly prepared, and I almost sold for a fraction of what I ultimately got.
